1. R-178-5-02 APPROVED from May 6, 2002 Ann Arbor City Council. Approving RESOLUTION TO APPROVE SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR LAND APPLICATION OF MUNICIPAL WASTEWATER BIOSOLIDS – RFP NO. 530 to Synagro Midwest, Inc.
   

RESOLVED, The Council approve the service agreement with Synagro Midwest, Inc. in the amount of $0.026 per gallon for land application of municipal wastewater biosolids, and that, after the first year, annual price adjustments be made equal to 80% of the Detroit Region Consumer Price Index;

1. R-183-5-07 APPROVED from May 7, 2007 RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH SYNAGRO CENTRAL, LLC FOR LAND APPLICATION OF MUNICIPAL WASTEWATER BIOSOLIDS, RFP NO. 657

RESOLVED, The Council approves the service agreement with Synagro in the amount of $0.0319 per gallon for land application of municipal wastewater biosolids and that on May 1st of every year starting May 1, 2008, an annual price adjustment equal to 80% of the Consumer Price Index will be made;

You are requested to approve a service agreement with Synagro for three years with the option for two one-year renewals. After the first year, the agreement allows for annual price adjustments based upon 80% of the Consumer Price Index. The estimated first year cost is $749,650.
