Auditor's report from January 2011 confirming that 10 Washtenaw County commissioners improperly collected $24,960 in pay in the form of per diems and mileage reimbursements from 2005 to 2010. Mark Ouimet, R-Scio Township, topped the list at $14,374, followed by Jessica Ping, R-Saline, at $5,003. Eight others, all Democrats, averaged under $700 each. Ouimet cut a check to the county for $14,374 the day the report was released to the public.
