| Description | This report lists all bridges in the state highway system managed by MDOT (Michigan Department of Transportation), the location, year built, year reconstructed, last inspection date, deck rating, superstructure rating, substructure rating, and whether the bridge is structurally deficient or functionally obsolete. This report lists 4,398 bridges of which 454 are structurally deficient and 885 are functionally obsolete. The last report published in April had 4,397 bridges. Since then we have added two bridges and removed one bridge. In April there were 471 structurally deficient bridges and 919 functionally obsolete bridges. The number of structurally deficient bridges has reduced by 17 bridges. The number of functionally obsolete bridges has reduced by 34 bridges.
