An assessment of Ann Arbor's streetlights wrapped up in September 2017. This is the final technical memo.

City spokesman Robert Kellar says, "Please note: the large deliverable on the project was in the form of databases, which have been integrated into the City’s GIS system, and are being used to develop a larger asset management plan for City owned streetlights. The memo is intended to serve as a summary of the methodology used, inspection results and identified needs. Also, this effort was focused on the condition of the lights, poles, foundations, etc. It did not analyze lighting levels or do any work to determine if additional streetlights were needed."
