The application stated, "Based on the crash patterns, the WCRC is proposing targeted tree removal and tree trimming on Mast Road between Strawberry Lake Road and North Territorial Road. One of the crashes occurred near culvert approximately 1200 feet south of Strawberry Lake Road. There is a steep drop-off and guardrail is proposed at this locations. The culvert itself is failing and needs to be replaced which was included in the scope for this project. These improvements are expected to reduce number and severity of crashes along Mast Road."
