This is a request for public records under the auspices of the Freedom of Information Act. I would like to receive copies of the following public records: 1. All emails (from any address) and text messages from city employee Eric Ronewicz to any member of City Council or Howard Lazarus sent between February 6, 2020 and March 4, 2020. 2. All emails (from any address) and text messages to city employee Eric Ronewicz from any member of City Council or Howard Lazarus sent between February 6, 2020 and March 4, 2020. 3. All emails and text messages to city employee Eric Ronewicz from any city employee sent between February 6, 2020 and March 4, 2020 which mention Police Chief Cox, or the letter concerning Chief Cox Ronewicz made public on March 2, 2020 (released to and published by MLive.com). Under no circumstances should Mr. Ronewicz be asked to search his own a2.gov email account to fulfill this request. Please retrieve the public records by conducting a search of the city's email server. PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE DUPLICATES.

These public records are being requested for news gathering purposes and will be used to educate the public on the workings of local government.

SECTION 18.2. of the City Charter states that "All records of the City shall be public, shall be kept in City offices except when required for official reasons or for purposes of safekeeping to be elsewhere, and shall be available for inspection at all reasonable times." As such, I expect no fee to be assessed for this request. Thank you.
